Rugby League fans will be able to tune in to the conversations between the referee and the players on the pitch at the Gillette World Club Challenge between Leeds Rhinos and Melbourne Storm at Elland Road on Sunday.
‘Ref Talk Radios’, which are endorsed by the RFL, will be available for just £5 from outside Elland Road before the game and will provide supporters with a unique perspective on the action.
Spectators can take the device into the ground and listen to the on-field exchanges whilst sat in the stands which will provide them with a unique perspective and a heightened experience.
The RFL’s Match Officials Director Stuart Cummings said: “The Ref Talk radio system is a great addition to the match day and provides a new dimension to the Grand Final experience.
“It allows supporters an excellent insight into the match-day role of the officials at a major Rugby League match and we would recommend fans to take advantage of this attractive offer.”
Tickets for the Gillette World Club Challenge are now available with prices starting from £20, or £10 concessions and can be purchased from the Elland Road Ticket Office until an hour before kick-off on Sunday (6.30). Tickets can also be purchased from the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 856 11 13.
