Hull KR coach Justin Morgan is planning to hold talks with Wigan Warriors over the future of centre Josh Charnley.

The 20–year–old has impressed since joining the Robins on loan, making three appearances and scoring one try.

His loan spell with the club will end next week, but with Kris Welham now set to miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, Morgan is hoping to extend Charnley’s deal until the end of the season.

“I think there’ll be huge benefits for Wigan,” he said.
