Bradford call up Crookes

Bradford Bulls have responded to their mounting injury crisis by recalling 17-year-old centre Jason Crookes from his loan spell at Widnes Vikings.

The Bulls had six first-choice players sidelined for Thursday's 44-2 defeat at Leeds Rhinos and lost second rower Simon Finnigan during the match with a hip injury.

Crookes, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Bulls, could go straight into the side for Monday's engage Super League game against Harlequins RL at Odsal.
