Hull FC have clinched the signing of Castleford Tigers utility player Ryan McGoldrick, who is poised to make his debut against Leeds Rhinos tonight.

The 31-year-old Australian, who was released by the Tigers yesterday, has agreed a short-term deal with the Black and Whites to ease their injury crisis.

McGoldrick, who made 132 appearances for Castleford, played under Hull coach Peter Gentle for Cronulla before moving to Stobart Super League in 2006.
