Hull KR captain Ben Galea has reversed his decision to retire, but will not be staying with the Craven Park club.

The 34-year-old Australian announced last month that he would be hanging up his boots, with the former Wests Tigers forward disappointed with the contract offer made to him by his current employers.

He waved farewell to the Rovers supporters after last Sunday's game with Wigan Warriors, and will make his final appearance for the club he has served for five years at London tomorrow.

That was meant to be his last ever game but he tonight admitted he has changed his mind, writing on his official Twitter account: "Before tomorrow's game I would like to let everyone know that I have decided not to retire.

"I will reveal more about my plans in due time. Unfortunately I won't be with Hull KR."

Galea has an admirer in Hull FC coach Peter Gentle who he worked with at Wests, but is unlikely to make the cross-city switch.
