Greenshields moves Down Under

24th September 2012
Catalan Dragons' Australian full-back Clint Greenshields has signed a 12-month deal with North Queensland Cowboys.
The 30-year-old brought the curtain down on his seven-season spell with the Stobart Super League club after last Friday's 27-20 play-off defeat by Leeds Rhinos and will join the Cowboys for pre-season training in late November.
Greenshields made 36 appearances for St George Illawarra from 2004-06 before making the move to France, where he became the Catalans' leading tryscorer with 77 touchdowns in 142 matches.
Cowboys general manager Peter Parr said: "Clint was keen to come back and have another shot at the NRL and we're happy that we're able to give him that opportunity."
Greenshields played two Tests for France - against England and Australia in the 2009 Four Nations Series - after qualifying through residency and was named in the 2008 Super League Dream Team.
