Ellis cleared to face France

5th November 2012
England forward Gareth Ellis has been cleared to play against France in Sunday's final of the autumn international series at the City of Salford Stadium.
The former Leeds Rhinos and Wests Tigers second rower, who is joining Hull FC for 2013, was put on report by New Zealand referee Shane Rehm during Saturday's 44-6 win over the French following a high tackle that left full-back Cyril Stacul with concussion.
The incident was scrutinised by a match-review panel this morning and, according to a Rugby Football League spokesman, it was decided Ellis would face no further action.
