Warrington Wolves have confirmed that half-back Gareth O'Brien will join St Helens on a month's loan with immediate effect.
Gareth, 21, is a product of the Warrington youth system and made his first team debut back in 2011.
Following a short but productive loan spell with Widnes early in 2012, during which he kicked the Vikings to a famous victory over Wigan in Round 6, O'Brien returned to enjoy an extended mid-season run in the Warrington first team making 14 Wolves appearances in total, touching down for three tries and kicking 28 goals.
This season has seen Gareth complete a loan spell with Castleford Tigers and put in a number of performances for Wolves partner club Swinton Lions. He has also made three appearances for his home town club scoring one try to date.
This loan period with St Helens will provide Gareth with more regular opportunities to play and gain experience at Super League level.
