Four Super League players charged

Four Super League players have been charged with committing disciplinary offences during Super League Round 23 fixtures last weekend.

Catalan Dragons player Zeb Taia has been charged with a Grade C reckless striking with the shoulder offence during the 21stminute of Catalan’s home game against St Helens on Saturday August 3.

Taia’s Catalan teammate Mickael Simon and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook of St Helens have both been charged with Grade A punching offences from the 69thminute of the same game.

Hull KR player Lincoln Withers has been charged with committing a Grade B dangerous contact offence on Wigan Warriors full-back Ryan Hampshire in the 45thminute of their game on Friday August 2.

All four players have until 11.00am on Tuesday August 6 to submit Early Guilty Pleas in relation to the offences.
