Grand Final programme is an extraordinary souvenir

3rd October 2013

With the Super League season set to climax on Saturday with the 2013 Grand Final, Warrington Wolves v Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford (6.00pm), there is only one place to read the views of the country’s leading Rugby League writers – the official Grand Final programme.

Many of Rugby League’s foremost journalists, both national and regional, have contributed to the magazine, creating a fascinating souvenir packed full of exclusive interviews and features.

Topics covered include the upcoming Rugby League World Cup 2013, news from the community game, a round-up of this year’s Super League campaign and, of course, the Grand Final itself.

Back Chat, the popular weekly Sky Sports programme, presents a specially-written Grand Final episode, and eight-time Grand Final winner Jamie Peacock recalls the feeling of winning a fifth title in 2008.

There are also exclusive interviews with the two teams’ coaches, Tony Smith and Shaun Wane, as well as player interviews with Warrington captain Adrian Morley and Wigan ‘wing wizard’ Pat Richards, plus a look back to the 2003 Grand Final with Robbie Hunter-Paul.

To tie in with Super League’s current pioneering marketing campaign, the Grand Final programme continues the theme of ‘The Rugby League of the Extraordinary’ in its design, to make it a real collector’s item.

The official RFL event programme, priced at £6, will be available from sales points inside and outside Old Trafford prior to the match on Saturday and will also be available from selected outlets around the stadium after the match as well.

Copies are also available by mail order from Ignition Publications on 01347 821344, with £2 charged for postage and packing charge.
