Godwin bows out of Super League

Salford City Reds hooker Wayne Godwin has ended his 13-year Super League career and signed for Championship club Dewsbury for 2014.

The 31-year-old began his career with Castleford Tigers in 2001 and also had spells at Wigan Warriors, Hull FC and Bradford Bulls before joining Salford two years ago.

"Excited to announce that I'll be playing for Dewsbury Rams next season," Godwin announced on Twitter.
