Prop forward Richard Moore is looking for another club after being released by Leeds Rhinos.

The 31-year-old former Leigh and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats player, who has made 16 appearances in each of his two seasons with the Rhinos, had another year left on his contract.

Leeds coach Brian McDermott said: "Richard leaves the Rhinos with the best wishes of everyone at the club.

"He has been a great servant to Leeds over the last two seasons, always prepared to help out the team wherever possible.

"His attitude has been first-class, including spending time at Hunslet this season on dual registration where he was also a popular figure. We appreciate his desire to secure more game time and wish him well for the future."

Moore, who was a product of the Leeds academy, said: "It was always an ambition of mine to play for the Rhinos first team, having started my career at Headingley Carnegie, and I am pleased to have done that.

"It has been a great experience for me and I am looking forward to the next chapter in my career next season."
