Brook earns pro terms

Bradford Bulls have given a two-year, full-time contract to teenage half-back Adam Brook.

Brook, who turns 20 in September, has yet to make a Super League appearance but impressed in the Bulls' pre-season friendly against Hull FC and has since proved a key figure for the club's under-19s side to earn a spot in Francis Cummins' senior squad.

"I am absolutely over the moon to sign a full-time contract with the Bulls, it is a dream come true for me," said Brook. "Since the age of six, when I first started playing rugby league, my dream was to turn professional at Super League level."

Bradford's head of youth Richard Tunningley said: "Adam's new deal is thoroughly deserved. He has worked very, very hard to earn it.

"He was given an opportunity to do further training last year and grasped the opportunity with both hands. Adam has made some huge sacrifices, with the great support of his family, and his efforts have paid off."
