Terms and Conditions for H.J Heinz BIG Wave Half Time Competition at the Super League Grand Final – Saturday 6th October 2012

H.J. Heinz Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. 1.                  Open to UK residents aged 18 and over at the time of entry, except employees and their immediate families of H.J. Heinz, brandRapport and The RFL and each of its group companies, their agents and anyone connected to this Promotion.  The competition is not open to anyone who is subject to a Sporting Event Banning Order.
  2. 2.                  Multiple entries are not permitted and each person participating in the competition will be deemed to be a single entrant as long as they meet the entry requirements.  All entries through third parties or agents are invalid.
  3. 3.                  All entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any requirements set out in any accompanying promotional material.
  4. 4.                  Promotion runs during the half time break of the Grand Final, starting at approximately 18:40 on 6th October 2012 at Old Trafford stadium.
  5. 5.                  There are three prizes available.  One prize will be awarded to each individual winner.  Each single prize is to win a year’s supply of Heinz BIG Soup. This prize constitutes 156 x 500g cans of Heinz BIG Soup in various flavours selected by the Promoter delivered to the home address of the winner throughout the year in quantities to be agreed with the winner. 
  6. 6.                  Prize winners will be contacted by phone and/or email within 120 hours (5 days) of the prize being awarded in the stadium on Saturday 6th October 2012 to arrange prize fulfilment. If the winner cannot be contacted within 120 hours (5 days) of the first attempt to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize entitlement.
  7. 7.                  To enter, entrants must wave their Heinz BIG Try Card when prompted by the stadium announcer during half time of the Grand Final.  Three entrants picked out by theRugby Football League’s cameraman as having the best waves and displayed on the BIG screen in the stadium as the ‘Heinz BIG Wave winners’ will be the three winners.  A member of the Rugby Football League’s entertainment team will come to find the winners and collect the following details from them:
  8. a.      First and Surname
  9. b.      Email address
  10. c.       Contact Telephone Number
  11. d.      Home address
  12. e.      Super League Club Supported
  13. 8.                  No proof of entry will be provided to the entrant.
  14. 9.                  All entries become the absolute property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
  15. 10.              The prize allocations will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. 11.              There is no cash alternative, and the prizeswill only be given to the official winners whose details are taken by the Rugby Football League’s entertainment team.
  17. 12.              A list of prize winners names and counties will be available to those sending a self stamped and addressed envelope no later than 6 weeks after the closing date to: BIG Soup Weekend Winners List, H.J. Heinz, South Building, Hayes Park, Hayes, Middlesex, UB4 8AL.
  18. 13.              The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value (as determined by the Promoter) should the advertised prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. 
  19. 14.              The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant which the Promoter believes has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.
  20. 15.              Winners may be asked to participate in unpaid promotional related publicity (including photographic shoots and interviews).
  21. 16.              The Promoter is not responsible for the content of external Internet sites.
  22. 17.              This prize draw is governed by English Law.

Terms and Conditions for All H.J Heinz BIG Soup 2012 Super League Prizes

  3. 3.                  All entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any requirements set out in any accompanying promotional material.
  4. 4.                  There are numerous prizes available that are set out in the below schedule to be won. All prize details are contained within their respective schedule.
  5. 5.                  To enter any of the below prize draws simply enter the following details on the BIG Weekend entry flyer and post it into the BIG Weekend Entry Bins at your respective location before the relevant closing times for the respective prize draws:

Alternatively you can send the above details to BIGWeekend@brand-rapport.com before the relevant closing times for the respective prize draws to enter online.

  1. 6.                  No proof of entry will be provided to the entrant.
  2. 7.                  All entries become the absolute property of the Promoter upon submission and will not be returned.
  3. 8.                  The winners will be selected at random.  The prize allocations will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. 9.                  There is no cash alternative, and the prizes and will only be given to the official winners.
  5. 10.              Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or email within 72 hours of the prizes closing date set out in the below schedule.  If the winner cannot be contacted within 72 hours of the first attempt to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize entitlement and award the prize to an alternative winner selected at random using an automated program at the same time as the original.
  6. 11.              A list of prize winners names and countries will be available to those sending a self stamped and addressed envelope no later than 6 weeks after the closing date to: BIG Soup Weekend Winners List, H.J. Heinz, South Building, Hayes Park, Hayes, Middlesex, UB4 8AL.
  7. 12.              The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value (as determined by the Promoter) should the advertised prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. 
  8. 13.              The Promoter reserves the right to (i) disqualify any entrant which the Promoter believes has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions, and (ii) select an alternative winner in respect of any prize they may have won.
  9. 14.              The Promoter is not liable for any entries that are lost, undelivered, incomplete, delayed, illegible or damaged, whether by failure of the internet or otherwise.  Proof of entry does not constitute proof of delivery.
  10. 15.              Winners may be asked to participate in unpaid promotional related publicity (including photographic shoots and interviews).
  11. 16.              The Promoter is not responsible for the content of external Internet sites.
  12. 17.              This prize draw is governed by English Law.

BIG Soup Super League 2012 Prizes

  1. A.     Round 25 (17 – 19 August 2012), Round 26 (31 August – 2 September 2012), and Round 27 (7 September – 9 September 2012) Super League Match Tickets
  2. 1.      The competitions all open at 00:01 on Friday 10th August 2012 and close:
  3.                               ii.            at 23:59 on Sunday 19th August 2012 for Round 26 Super League match tickets
  4.                             iii.            at 23:59 on Sunday 2nd September 2012 for Round 27 Super League match tickets.
  5. 2.      The prize draws will take place:
  6. 3.      There are three prizes to be won:
  7.                                 i.            2 tickets (seat only) to a Round 25 Super League match for the home club you selected when entering the prize draw (UK clubs only). 
  8.                               ii.            2 tickets (seat only) to a Round 26 Super League match for the home club you selected when entering the prize draw (UK clubs only).
  9.                             iii.            4 tickets (seat only) to a Round 27 Super League match for the home club you selected when entering the prize draw (UK clubs only).
  10. 4.      No out of pocket expenses such as food, drink and travel to the match are included in the prizes. The winners and any permitted companions are solely responsible for making their own travel arrangements to the match.
  11. 5.      Within each set of tickets, a minimum of 1 adult must attend the match. Under no circumstances will any variations of this be permitted.
  12. 6.      Please note ALL Super League tickets are located within the home supporters’ section of the stadium.
  13. 7.      It is the responsibility of the applicant to check the date and kick off time on The RFL’s official website. Winners accept that the prize could be rescheduled, cancelled or suspended for any reason whatsoever. In the event this occurs, the Promoter has no liability to the ticket holders.  The Promoter is not responsible for late changes in the date and kick-off time or postponement of the match.
  14. 8.      Tickets will be posted by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to the postal address supplied by the winner on entry. A signature will be required upon delivery. In some circumstances (due to time constraints or where no-one is available to sign for the tickets), tickets will need to be collected at the stadium. The winner will be advised by email as to whether their tickets will be delivered or whether they are to be collected from the stadium.
  15. 9.      Tickets will be dispatched at least 2 working days prior to the Super League match taking place. If you have not received your tickets 24 hours prior to the match, please contact our ticket helpline on 07879 698 580. These calls are charged at mobile rates and these rates will vary depending on your mobile network operator.
    1. at 23:59 on Sunday 12th August 2012 for Round 25 Super League match tickets.
    1. on Monday 13th August 2012 for Round 25 Super League match tickets.
    2. on Monday 20th August 2012  for Round 26 Super League match tickets.
    3. on Monday 3rd September 2012 for Round 27 Super League match tickets.

 

 

  1. B.      The BIG Weekend Prize
  2. 1.      The prize draw to win a BIG Weekend prize is open from 00:01 on Friday 10th August 2012 until 23:59 on Sunday 2nd September 2012.
  3. 2.      The prize draw to win a BIG Weekend prize will take place at 9am on Monday 3rd September 2012.
  4. 3.      There are three BIG Weekend prizes to be won.  Each BIG Weekend prize consists of the following:
  5. a.      Set of 4 tickets (seat only) for the Round 27 Super League fixture of the home club they submitted when entering the prize draw (UK clubs only) or, where not available, another match to be agreed between the winner, the Promoter and the RFL subject to availability and there being sufficient time available to arrange fulfillment.  Where this prize is not redeemable at Round 27 due to factors outside our control, the Promoter will arrange fulfillment at another Super League match within the UK of the winners choice (subject to availability and there being sufficient time available to arrange fulfillment).
  6. b.      Five star hotel accommodation for up to four people on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th September 2012 at a suitable hotel location selected by the Promoter no more than 25 miles from the Round 27 fixture.
  7. c.       Dinner for four people up to the value of £500 at a restaurant selected by the Promoter.
  8. d.      Activity in city centre near match selected by the Promoter for four people up to the value of £500.
  9. e.      VIP Matchday hospitality that includes a pre-match dinner at the ground and, subject to approval from the relevant home club, half time on-pitch activity.
  10. f.        Return VIP matchday chauffeur driven transport from the hotel to the ground and back.
  11. g.      Signed merchandise and Heinz BIG Soup branded prizes.
  12. 4.      Travel to and from your home to the hotel is not arranged by the Promoter and is your responsibility to arrange. Costs of up to £200 per party will be reimbursed upon production of valid receipts.  No other out of pocket expenses are included in the prize.  
  13. 5.      The RFL and Home Super League club reserves the right to cancel the on-pitch half time activity at any time.  The Promoter is not responsible for late changes in the date and kick-off time or postponement of the match.
  14. 6.      You will be advised which end of the ground your seats are located. Requests will not be considered. No additional tickets are available.
