Crusaders RL back row forward Jason Chan is set to continue as a makeshift centre after Vince Mellars failed to shake off a shoulder injury that forced him to sit out last week’s win over Salford City Reds.
Winger Gareth Thomas also misses out on a return to north Wales, while young full-back Elliot Kear is added to Brian Noble’s squad.
Harlequins RL coach Brian McDermott, who is still without the services of influential hooker or half-back Danny Orr, makes just one change to the side that lost at home to Hull, with back row forward Lamont Bryan returning in place of prop Dave Williams.
