Catalan centre Vincent Duport misses his first match of the season after picking up a pectoral injury in the defeat at Wigan Warriors but the Dragons can call on Zeb Taia, who has returned from a personal trip to Australia. Forwards Louis Anderson and Julian Bousquet also return, from injury and suspension respectively, while coach Laurent Frayssinous is set to give half-back William Barthau his first appearance this season in the continuing absence of Scott Dureau and Brent Webb.

Widnes Vikings prop Ben Davies is set to make his first appearance of the season in the absence of the injured Hep Cahill while second rower Macgraff Leuluai is recalled to plug the gap caused by the loss of Gareth Hock to suspension. Veteran full-back Shaun Briscoe and scrum-half or hooker Grant Gore also make the trip to France.
