England TV World Cup Diary Part 1

The England Rugby League team are stepping up their preparations ahead of their opening World Cup game against Papua New Guinea.

They're based on the Gold Coast in Queensland and have been using local sports faciliies for training.

On Saturday lunchtime, they took a break from the gym and pitch and sampled the atmosphere at a traditional Australian surf club. The Northcliffe club is in the heart of the Surfers' Paradise area and as well as the club itself the players enjoyed the superb bech and surf conditions.

England TV was there and caught up with Kevin Sinfield, Mickey Higham and Head Coach Tony Smith....
