Catalans Dragons fine tuned their preparations for the 2008 engage Super League campaign with a 48-24 victory over a French Federation President’s XIII at Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday evening.
In their only pre-season game so far, the Dragons faced a tough test from a team containing several French international players who will be bidding for a place in the Tricolors World Cup squad.
After the match SLTV went into the Dragons’ dressing room to speak EXCLUSIVELY to Head Coach Mick Potter and several players who could be key figures for the Catalans this season.
- Former Queensland and Australian forward Dane Carlaw
- Foundation player Jerome Guisset who is entering his third season with his home town club.
- Former St George-Illawarra half back / hooker Aarron Gorrell, who’s 2007 campaign was severely hampered by injury
- Casey McGuire who is set to take over the organising responsibilities previously carried out by Stacey Jones.
