FC & Castleford Support NHS With Virtual Double-Header Fundraiser

Hull FC and Castleford Tigers supporters can play their part in supporting the NHS next Saturday evening by purchasing tickets for our virtual double-header clash! In the first event of its kind in Rugby League, supporters of both clubs will be able to help raise funds for our NHS key-workers who are working tirelessly during the COVID-19 pandemic, by purchasing an e-ticket for the double-header which will see two classic matches being replayed via the club's own respective Facebook pages on Saturday 2nd May.

Although the full-match replays will be free to view on Facebook, supporters hoping to watch the two clashes are encouraged to donate by purchasing their e-ticket here, priced at £3. A third of all funds raised by both clubs will be donated to the NHS to help fund vital resources such as Personal Protection Equipment to ensure safe working environments in hospitals.

Meanwhile, remaining funds will be split between both club's Community Foundations', whose non-furloughed staff have been assisting the local communities during the pandemic, helping in local schools with key worker's children, and assisting vulnerable members of the community when needed.

5.00pm (Hull FC Facebook Page) - Hull FC vs Castleford Tigers (23/04/17, KCOM Stadium)

7.00pm (Castleford Tigers Facebook Page) - Castleford Tigers vs Hull FC (30/06/17, Mend-A-Hose Jungle)

Both FC and the Tigers enjoyed memorable seasons in 2017, with the two clashes at the KCOM Stadium and the Jungle being some of the best Super League games of the season - in case you've forgotten, we won't spoil the result for you!

Hull FC and Castleford supporters have come together to watch many great battles over the years, somewhat finding a second-rivalry to their local derby games with Hull KR and Wakefield respectively, with big crowds from both sides always following their teams either way down the M62 to their clashes on the road in East and West Yorkshire.

The supporters of both teams can come together once again on Saturday evening and do their part to support both the NHS, and the two clubs Foundations, all of which are undertaking vital work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
