Dragons games broadcast by L'Equipe

Catalans Dragons’ Betfred Super League games in August will be shown live on French terrestrial television channel L’Equipe.

Catalans Dragons’ Betfred Super League games in August will be shown live on French terrestrial television channel L’Equipe.

Super League’s host broadcaster, Sky Sports, is showing 17 games next month after the season resumes on August 2, and this arrangement between the host broadcaster and L’Equipe will allow fans in France to watch Dragons’ behind-closed-doors matches against St Helens (Aug 2), Castleford Tigers (Aug 8), Salford Red Devils (Aug 15) and Wigan Warriors (Aug 30).

The recent easing of restrictions at sporting events by the French government allows Dragons to play in front of crowds of 5,000 at Stade Gilbert Brutus, the first of which will see Leeds Rhinos visit Perpignan on September 7.

Dragons and Super League are continuing to explore all opportunities to enable live pictures from their home games to be made available to Super League fans.
