Meanwhile, Wigan Warriors secured their third win in a row thanks to a Jackson Hastings inspired performance. Hastings finished with 4 try assists – including 3 for hat-trick hero Jake Bibby – and a drop goal as the Warrior defeated Wakefield Trinity 25-12.
Leeds Rhinos got back to winning ways against Salford on Friday Night, defeating the Red Devils 38-16. Kruise Leeming was in fine form the Rhinos, scoring 2 tries and setting up another. Centre Harry Newman crossed to score a try on just his second appearance in 2021 after an extensive period sidelined through injury.

The round concluded when Hull KR made the trip to Catalans in a late fixture change on Saturday Night. Despite not playing for over 5 weeks, the Robins were impressive and looked to have ended the Dragons 9 game winning streak thanks to 2 tries and an assist from Jordan Abdull. However, it wasn’t to be for Hull KR who fell short in the South of France – Catalans now unbeaten in their last 10.
