Round 11 Preview

Thursday night and Good Friday fixtures.

Thursday: London Broncos vs Catalans Dragons (19:45) 

London Broncos will be looking end their winless run, while Catalans Dragons will still be hurting by their controversial loss in Perpignan in golden point time against Hull FC, they’ll be without Fouad Yaha and Ben Garcia who are out with injury. 

Thursday: Castleford Tigers vs Wakefield Trinity (Live on Sky Sports, 19:45)

Castleford Tigers will take on Wakefield Trinity at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle, it’ll be the best props in the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel standings going head to head, Liam Watts versus David Fifita, the Wakefield star is top of the standings. 

Good Friday: Hull FC vs Hull KR (Live on Sky Sports, 12:45)

It’s arguably the biggest derby in Super League, it will be an expected packed out KCOM Stadium. The last time the two teams met, Jimmy Keinhorst grabbed a late winner to steal victory from under the noses of Lee Radford’s FC. 

Good Friday: Wigan Warriors vs St Helens (Live on Sky Sports, 15:00)

There’ll be a huge travelling contingent on Friday as St Helens have sold over 5,000 tickets for the short trip to the DW Stadium. Last week, Saints comprehensively beat rivals Warrington Wolves and will be looking to separate themselves at the top of the table from those underneath. 

Good Friday: Warrington Wolves vs Salford Red Devils (15:00)

Warrington will have the perfect opportunity to bounce back from their defeat against Saints in the last round when they host Salford Red Devils at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. Last week, Salford played in a Challenge Cup tie against Rochdale Hornets, Niall Evalds scored four tries as Salford won 76-6. 

Good Friday: Leeds Rhinos vs Huddersfield Giants (15:00)

Huddersfield Giants have turned around their poor start to the season, they beat Castleford at the John Smith’s Stadium last week and they had good news this week as fullback Darnell McIntosh signed a new contract with the club. Rhinos will be desperate to kickstart their season in front of a home crowd as they still sit at the foot of the table.
