Warrington Wolves are to release second rower Tyrone McCarthy and winger Rhys Williams at the end of the season.
McCarthy, 25, has made 43 appearances for his home-town club, including the 2009 Challenge Cup final just weeks after making his debut, while Williams, 23, has scored 21 tries in 29 appearances.
Both players have struggled for regular first-team football and spent much of the season on dual registration with Championship club Swinton.
A Warrington spokesman said: "All associated with the Wolves would like to thank both Tyrone and Rhys for their service to the club over the years and wish them well for their future rugby careers."
Neither player is involved in the Super League play-offs but both will be expected to feature in the World Cup for Ireland and Wales respectively.
