Walker pulls out of Scotland squad

14th October 2013

Castleford Tigers prop Jonathan Walker has been forced to withdraw from Scotland’s World Cup squad.

A persistent knee problem has denied Walker the chance to play alongside his twin brother Adam. The former has withdrawn along with Batley half-back Gareth Moore, who has a shoulder injury.

Scotland will send medical reports on Walker and Moore in the next 48 hours as they seek permission from RLWC2013 to replace them in the 24-man squad that was named last Wednesday.
