Veteran prop Richard Moore has returned for a second spell with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats following his release by Leeds Rhinos.
The 31-year-old has signed a 12-month deal with the Wildcats, for whom he made 102 appearances in a three-year stint from 2008-10.
“I'm really excited to be coming back here, said Moore, who has also played for Bradford Bulls, Leigh and Celtic Crusaders.
“I probably played my best rugby here and that’s one of the main reasons I chose to come back when I had the opportunity. Now I’m just looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season and getting back to the form that the Wakefield fans saw me in.”
Moore is expected to be one of seven new signings for Wakefield, who have been forced to shed several high-earners to ease their financial troubles.
Moore added: “The club has had to let a few players go but the lads that are left, there’s still a lot of talent in this team and I'm looking forward to playing with them.”
