Rugby League fans can come face to face with their favourite First Utility Super League stars in a unique way at Magic Weekend 2014 (May 17 and 18) when they buy the official matchday programme.
Using 3D technology for the first time, the official Magic Weekend programme boasts a three-dimensional front cover and features a host of 3D images throughout illustrating a series of articles produced by some of the country’s leading Rugby League writers.
Fans will receive a pair of 3D glasses with every programme to experience a Rugby League magazine like no other as they dive into the 82-page publication to see the likes of Sean O’Loughlin, Ben Westwood, Kevin Sinfield and Eddie and Stevo in glorious 3D.
In another Rugby League first, fans will also be able to use their mobile phones to scan QR codes, which are placed throughout the programme and will link directly to some fantastic online videos.
To tie in with Super League’s current pioneering marketing campaign, the Magic Weekend programme continues the theme of ‘The Rugby League of the Extraordinary’ in its design, to make it a real collector’s item.
The official RFL event programme, priced at just £5, will be available from sales points inside and outside Etihad Stadium during each day of Magic Weekend.
