An independent tribunal has rejected the appeal by Hull Kingston Rovers chairman Neil Hudgell against the £1,000 fine imposed in April 2014 for engaging in conduct which is prejudicial to the interests of the game.

The tribunal upheld the fine imposed after Mr Hudgell was found to be in breach of RFL Operational Rule D1.8 (c) (Improper Conduct) by publicly criticising the RFL disciplinary process by questioning the integrity of members involved in the process.
