Tasi accepts two-match ban

8th July 2014

Salford Red Devils forward Lama Tasi has accepted a two-match ban for his sending-off against Huddersfield Giants.

The 24-year-old former Brisbane Broncos prop submitted an early guilty plea after being charged with a grade C offence of a reckless high tackle on Giants captain Danny Brough during the Red Devils' 36-10 win at the John Smith's Stadium last Saturday.

Tasi, who is the only player to have started all 21 of Salford's league and cup matches this year, will lose his ever-present record when the Red Devils host Hull FC on Saturday.
