- Here's what happened on Semi-Final Sunday...
- It's a Wigan v Saints rivalry in this year's BWSL Grand Final!

After a blockbuster weekend, the semi-finals for the Betfred Women’s Super League are over and we have our 2025 Grand Finalists!
Wigan Warriors will face arch-rivals St Helens at The Brick Community Stadium on Sunday 5 October in the Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final (KO 5:30pm).
League Leaders’ Shield winners Wigan met with Leeds Rhinos in their semi-final, and put on yet another dominant display which prevented the Rhinos from putting a single point on the board.
An early Leeds error saw the Cherry & Whites start their attack immediately as Shaniah Power made a short pass to send Mary Coleman over.
Isabel Rowe converted and it wasn't long before the Warriors were scoring again on the twelve-minute mark, when Grace Banks and Molly Jones helped Ruby Hunter to make it over in the corner.
Leeds remained hopeful, pushing on with back-to-back attacking sets, but their efforts were met with an intense defensive push from the Warriors leaving them unable to put any points on the board.
The second half proved much the same for the Warriors as Mia-Jayne Atherton added her first to the score, and Coleman and Eva Hunter got their braces to take the walk away with a 38-0 victory.

Elsewhere, at the Totally Wicked Stadium, St Helens hosted reigning champions York Valkyrie in a repeat of last year’s Grand Final.
The Red V kicked off the scoring after a tough first fifteen minutes as Katie Mottershead dived over the line to get the ball down.
A conversion from Faye Gaskin gave Saints a strong lead and the two continued to battle against one another’s strong defences.
Peace Lekuru came close to giving York their first points, but she was ruled short by the video referee and it was left to Tamzin Renouf to put the Valkyrie on the scoresheet before the first half.
The home side headed into the second half with a slight advantage at 6-4 after York failed to convert, and they were also the first to score after the break as Caitlin Casey spotted a gap next to the posts. Another successful conversion for Gaskin saw her put her side’s final points on the board.

The Valkyrie attempted to make a comeback with a second try from Georgia Dagger, but another unsuccessful attempt at converting meant Gaskin’s two-point addition gave the Saints the edge and their ticket to the Grand Final.
Will the Red V lift the Women's Super League trophy for the first time since 2021?
It doesn't get much bigger than this ?
