Super League Saturday

Saturday Preview

This weekend’s fixtures move from Leeds’ Emerald Headingley Stadium to St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium.

All four fixtures will be live on Sky Sports with two fixtures to be played on Saturday and two fixtures on Sunday.

SATURDAY

Wakefield Trinity vs Catalans Dragons (4:15PM)

Catalans have played two fixtures in the past two weeks, the first a poor showing against a strong Saints side.

Their most recent fixtures a comprehensive 40-14 win against Castleford Tigers.

Wakefield suffered a one-point loss to Wigan last week, and will be looking to get two points on the board against a Catalans side that seemed to have been inspired by centre Israel Folau.

Tony Gigot will play against the club where he made history by guiding them to the Challenge Cup final win in 2018. His replacement at Catalans, Sam Tomkins, returns to the Dragons squad after suspension.

The Wire have won the last four fixtures between the two clubs with Giants’ last victory coming during round two of the 2018 season.
