Man of Steel update: Easter Period

After a hectic Easter period of Betfred Super League action, the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel points for Rounds 8 and 9 are in.

Teams were put through their paces over the Easter weekend with a host of players backing up on Easter Monday after a short turn around.

Huddersfield Giants star Tui Lolohea was a standout for his side despite a tough run of results – he earned Man of Steel points in both of the Giants Easter fixtures and moves to second in the overall leaderboard.

Similarly, St Helens impressive back-rower Joe Batchelor put in two typically tough performances during the Easter period, receiving Man of Steel points from both of his sides wins against Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants.

Elswhere, 2020 Man of Steel finalist Bevan French returns to the leaderboard in 2022 thanks to his performance for the Warriors against Wakefield Trinity in Round 9.

And French's Warriors teammate Jai Field continues to lead the pack at the top of the Man of Steel leaderboard with 15 points from the opening 9 rounds.
