Magic Weekend ticket holders are being offered the chance to add an additional blockbuster rugby league fixture to their plans for this summer’s trip to the North East, with a special offer on tickets for the Betfred Championship clash between Newcastle Thunder and Bradford Bulls on Friday July 8.
A now traditional curtain raiser to two days of Betfred Super League action, all Magic Weekend purchasers are able to buy tickets for the 7:45pm kick off at Kingston Park Stadium for just £5.
The offer is open to fans with Saturday, Sunday or Full weekend ticket holders as Thunder aim to break a 22-year-old club attendance record of 6,631 set against the same opposition in May 1999.
Super League fans taking advantage of the £5 offer can expect a Magic Friday spectacular after Thunder have announced the game will be in partnership with the Northern Pride festival.
There will be a festival feel to the evening, with a full programme of pre and post-match entertainment set to make this Magic Friday the biggest and best yet.
Full details will be announced in due course but with a schedule set to run right up to kick off and then late into the night, there is set to be something for sports fans and event goers alike to enjoy.
With Newcastle hosting UK Pride two weeks later between July 22 – 24 – in what is the 50th anniversary year of the first Pride march, Thunder will demonstrate its’ ongoing support for the LGBTQ+ community and continue to promote the importance of inclusivity within sport.
