2023 fixtures | What do we know

With the Rugby League World Cup in full swing and Super League based players lighting up the big moments on the pitch, there is plenty to get excited about for the 2023 Betfred Super League season.
Thursday (3 November) sees the release of the 2023 fixture schedule, so we wanted to take a look at what we know so far and what we can expect to find out later this week….
What do we already know?
Well, we know the season kicks off on Thursday 16 February and finishes with the Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday 14 October.
We also know that teams will play 27 rounds in the regular season; 13 home and 13 away games plus Magic Weekend at St James' Park.
Speaking of Magic Weekend, we know we're heading back to Newcastle on the weekend of 3 & 4 June for two days of non-stop action and entertainment in a great city. We hope fans make it one to remember in 2023.
The fixtures for Magic Weekend have already been announced;

Rivals Round returns in 2023, with all six games across the Easter Weekend live on Sky Sports. Alongside the traditional Good Friday Hull Derby and Wigan v St Helens Derby, fans will see the below fixtures....

What we'll find out this week
Between now and 08:30am on Thursday morning we'll find out the fixtures for Rivals Round, which will be played over the Easter Weekend.
We'll also find out who will be first team to take on Leigh Leopards in Super League and who gets the sunny trips to Perpignan over the summer months.
Thursday's announcement will also include details of the first batch of broadcast selections for Sky Sports and Channel 4 in 2023.
