Top Performers
It was a round to remember for the Leeds Rhinos getting their first win of the season over World Club Challenge Champions St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Rhyse Martin, Nene MacDonald and Cameron Smith all earned themselves a place in the Fantasy Team of the Round in their drop goal victory.
George Williams recorded the highest score of Fantasy 2023 with a mammoth 114 points thanks to running 180 metres, scoring a try and 3 assists in the Wolves win over the Red Devils.
Fantasy Flops
The top three performing fantasy full backs managed to secure wins in Round 3 but this was not reflected in the fantasy points score, Will Pryce only managed 39 points thanks to his 6 missed tackles.
Sam Tomkins was left out of the Dragons team in Round 3 after returning to Super League for Round 2, the England captain was not named in the squad for their Round 4 trip to the Warriors.
Looking Ahead
Wakefield Trinity winger Lewis Murphy has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL injury in round 3. The budding star averaged 40 points in his 19 matches in 2022.
5 players will be missing out in Round 4 due to penalties handed out by the Match Review Panel. Shaun Kenny-Dowall was charged with a Grade E offence and is likely to miss key games for the Robins. Saints' Sione Mata'utia & Konrad Hurrell picked up two match bans whilst Curtis Sironen and Leigh's Ben Reynolds will miss Round 4.
