Round Six Team of the Week

Round Six of the Betfred Super League saw some huge efforts by teams and players! St Helens kicked the weekend off with an away win at Huddersfield. Saints prop, Matty Lees made 57 tackles during the narrow 14-12 victory over the Giants.
On Friday, a Bevan French brace clinched a success over the Red Devils. French made 189 metres, which was more than anybody else in the match.
Kallum Watkins may have been on the losing side, however, the Red Devils second rower made 32 tackles and 116 metres.
Elsewhere, Mikey Lewis was influencial for the Robins. Lewis scored a try and assisted two for his teammates during the 34-6 win against Trinity.
Tom Opacic scored two tries and also turned provider as Willie Peters? side moved up to fourth in the table.
The Wolves continued their winning streak as they defeated the Tigers.
Full-back, Matt Dufty, made 128 metres from just his 12 carries. The Wolves number one scored a try and assisted another during the 38-0 rout.
Paul Vaughan produced another huge display in the forward pack. 171 metres and a try saw the prop continue his fine form in 2023.
Ben Currie?s contribution helped see the Wolves cerement their position at the top of the table. Currie assisted try for Daryl Powell?s side.
Despite playing out of position, Rhyse Martin helped the Rhinos to come from behind to beat the Dragons. Martin got himself on the scoresheet and made a whopping 213 metres from 13 carries.
Blake Austin helped to pull the strings in the halves. Austin assisted two tries and kicked a key 40/20 live on Channel Four.
Benjamin Garcia made 130 metres at loose forward for Steve McNamara?s Dragons.
Adrian Lam?s Leopards won their second match in the city of Hull this season with a victory over Hull FC.
Edwin Ipape posed a threat to the Hull FC defence throughout the contest. Ipape made 112 metres from 10 carries of the ball.
Josh Charnley continued his great scoring form. The winger completed a hat-trick, as he now moves joint top in the try scorer standings with eight tries.
