Catapult stats tracker: Mammoth efforts in tough conditions
5 Apr 2023

Conditions at Sewell Group Craven Park may have prevented a fast, free-flowing game between Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos on Friday Night, but the players' efforts certainly didn't falter.
Hull KR's half-back pairing of Mikey Lewis and Jordan Abdull, along with stand in Rhinos full-back Luke Hooley, all led the way in the distanced covered charts in Round 7. Mikey Lewis recorded the greatest distance of the round, covering an impressive 9,271 metres - the second highest total in 2023.
Hooley, who had a difficult evening under the high ball, showed unrelenting effort on Betfred Super League debut and covered 9,037 metres, whilst Player of the Match Abdull was close behind with a distance of 8,966 metres.

Elsewhere, the electric Jai Field hit the top speed of Round 7, clocking a velocity of 34.86km/h before succumbing to a hamstring injury which will see the Wigan flyer sidelined for the next two months. Abbas Miski and Kevin Naiqama both worked overtime for their sides in Round 7, recording more high speed efforts than any other players. The pair reached a speed greater than the high speed threshold of 25.2km/h 14 times in their respective games over the weekend.
