Standin' Man to perform at Magic Weekend

Standin' Man, aka Dean Fairhurst, will perform live at St James' Park during Betfred Super League's Magic Weekend.

Betfred Super League returns to Newcastle for Magic Weekend for a full round of fixtures over two days on 3 and 4 June. Standin' Man's set will take place before the final game of the weekend between Warrington Wolves and Hull FC, which kicks off at 4.30pm on Sunday 4 June.

Standin' Man, a Warrington native with strong rugby league connections, will perform on the pitch at St James' Park before the Wolves and Hull FC close the curtain on Magic Weekend 2023.

It marks the start of an exciting summer for Standin' Man who will then head to Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday 9 June to perform before St Helens take on local rivals Wigan Warriors in Round 15 of Betfred Super League.

Standin' Man then returns to Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday 21 July to support iconic rock 'n' roll band The Who as part of the bands major UK tour. 

Tickets for Magic Weekend at St James' Park are available to purchase online via superleague.co.uk until Friday 2 June and on match day from the Stadium ticket office.
