Top performers

Jake Wardle recorded the highest points tally in Round 25 thanks to a season best 85 points from the centre. After an excellent performance in his sides 50-0 demolition of Leeds Rhinos, Wardle crossed for a hat-trick of tries whilst also contributing with a try assist and five tackle busts to cap off a sublime performance and Fantasy score.

Elsewhere in Round 25, Brodie Croft impressed for Salford during their crucial golden point win over Warrington. Croft scored a brace of tries on his way to a 78 point total, reaffirming his position as a premium stand-off in Fantasy League.

Croft's Salford teammate Ben Hellewell came in as the third top performer in Round 25. Hellewell, who is priced at just 105k, crossed for a try and made 40 tackles on his way to a 69 point total.

Fantasy flops

Leigh's Lachlan Lam was amongst the underperformers in Round 25. Despite playing a full 80 minutes, Lam was unable to have an influence on proceedings during a real war of attrition against the Saints. A tough evening for both the Leopards and Lam, with the half-back scoring just 19 points.

Warrington flyer Matty Ashton had a quiet afternoon at Salford on Sunday. The winger has been a pivotal part of the Wolves' campaign but couldn't replicate his form in their defeat to the Red Devils. Ashton was only able to score 16 points after failing to register any notable attacking stats.

A disappointing result for Leeds Rhinos led to further disappointment for owners of Rhyse Martin. Due to a 50-0 defeat for his side, Martin was unable to make any contribution on the game, particularly given his lack of goal kicking opportunities - a usual point of difference for the PNG captain.

Looking ahead

Despite Ben Hellewell's impressive Round 25 score and tempting price, it would be wise to resist the urge to bring him into your side to free up cash elsewhere. With Kallum Watkins expected to return this week, Hellewell is likely to be relegated back to the bench, significantly reducing his minutes on the field and ability to score points.

Sam Walters will be out of action for Leeds Rhinos this weekend as he serves a 1 match penalty notice for Grade B dangerous contact in the Rhinos heavy defeat against Warrington.

Popular loose forward Luke Yates will be unavailable for selection in Round 26. Yates picked up a one-match ban following a grade B dangerous contact charge meaning he won't line up against Hull FC on the weekend.
