League Hits Dublin - a double-header weekend in the Irish capital

Super League is heading to Dublin in April 2027

Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors have announced a landmark Super League clash in Dublin in April 2027.

The Wolves and the Warriors will make history next year when they contest the first-ever Super League fixture to be played in Ireland.

The two fierce rivals will meet at the newly redeveloped Laya Arena in Dublin on Saturday 24 April 2027, (KO 5.30pm), taking one of Rugby League's biggest fixtures to the Irish capital for a landmark occasion.

The fixture continues Super League's recent run of blockbuster overseas showcases and follows Warrington and Wigan's historic meeting in Las Vegas in 2025.

Warrington and Wigan will then be joined by St Helens and Hull FC who will face off on the Sunday (25 April 2027, K.O. TBC), completing a historic double-header weekend that will showcase four Super League clubs in Ireland.

Laya Arena, in the heart of Dublin, has undergone a €52 million transformation and officially reopened in early August with the prestigious Dublin Horse Show. It is also the home ground of Leinster Rugby Union. With a capacity exceeding 20,000, the newly redeveloped stadium is among Europe's most modern sporting venues, delivering state-of-the-art facilities, outstanding hospitality and an electric atmosphere that makes it the perfect arena.
