Our League Predictor | Round 2

It's time to get your Round 2 score predictions in on the Our League Predictor Game, as we continue to Go up against the Pros! This week fans can go up against the one and only Terry O'Connor, former rugby league player and familiar Sky Sports pundit!

Here is a break-down of all five Super League games taking place in Round 2, with Terry O'Connor's predictions and Our League member predictions so far:

Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos

Hull KR are at home for the first time in 2024, as they host Leeds Rhinos on Thursday night. Both sides come into this game on the back of opening round wins - the Robins taking the derby spoils over at Hull FC, whereas Leeds clinched the two points in a tough battle on home turf against Salford Red Devils.

Willie Peters' men completed the double over the Rhinos last season, but both matches were extremely tight contests. Out of the 35 Super League meetings between the two sides, Leeds have one 24 to date. But who will get their second consecutive win of 2024?

Terry O'Connor's prediction: Leeds Rhinos

Our League member predictions: Hull KR: 70%, Rhinos: 29%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%

Warrington Wolves v Hull FC

Both sides will be itching to secure their first win of the 2024 campaign, as Hull FC travel to Warrington on Friday. The Black and Whites will endure a tough test in Round 2, as they have at least 14 first-team players unavailable for this fixture.

The Wolves, on the other hand, have named a similar team to the one defeated in Perpignan last weekend. Their winning records when playing one other are somewhat even, with Warrington having won 34 Super League encounters with Hull FC, to Hull's 24 victories.

Our League member predictions: Wolves: 93%, Hull FC: 7%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

London Broncos v Catalans Dragons

The Broncos will host last year's beaten Grand Finalists Catalans Dragons on Friday night and are on home soil at the Cherry Red Records Stadium for the first time this season - this fixture marking the first ever Super League one to be played there.

Catalans will travel to the capital with a confidence boost and momentum, on the back of a fiery 16-10 victory over Warrington Wolves last Saturday and having secured their head coach Steve McNamara for another two years. They will be without star men Micky McIlorum and Paul Seguier who are both suspended however.

London, who are expected to draw one of their biggest crowds in recent years, will look to right their wrongs of last week after suffering defeat to a strong St Helens side.

The Dragons have won their last five away meetings with the capital side, but could this all be set to change on Friday?

Our League member predictions: Broncos: 1%, Dragons: 99%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Huddersfield Giants v St Helens

Huddersfield proved any doubters wrong last week and impressed in their opening round win against Leigh Leopards. Likewise, St Helens showed they mean business in 2024 with a comfortable win over newly-promoted London.

Paul Wellens' men won three times against the Giants last year, two of those matches being rather convincing victories for the Saints. But with a strong recruitment drive from Huddersfield in 2024, who will come out on top on Saturday and get their second win of the new season? It promises to be an exciting one!

Terry O'Connor's prediction: St Helens

Our League member predictions: Giants: 8%, St Helens: 92%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Salford Red Devils v Castleford Tigers

The Salford Stadium will host its first match of the 2024 Super League campaign on Sunday, where the Red Devils welcome Castleford Tigers. Both come into this game on the back of disappointing losses in the opening round - Salford suffering a narrow defeat to Leeds, whilst Castleford were unable to compete with Matt Peet's ruthless Wigan Warriors.

It may only be Round 2, but these two sides will be hoping to hit the ground running and take the two points from this match, in order to kickstart the 2024 season and combat any early nerves.

Our League member predictions: Red Devils: 85%, Tigers 15%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
