Our League Predictor | Round 3
29 Feb 2024

It's Round 3 and the time has come to get those all-important score predictions in on the Our League Predictor Game! As always, fans can Go up against the Pros and this week sees Denis Betts give his predictions heading into week three...
Betts, a former rugby league legend and head coach, was a huge part of Wigan's famous winning period during the 1980s and 1990s, and has a glittering trophy cabinet boasting both individual and collective team success. He also won two World Club Challenges with Wigan - the Warriors won their record-equalling fifth World Club Challenge title last Saturday - and he was also an integral member of the Great Britain and England international sides.
Here is a look at all six Super League games taking place in Round 3, with Denis Betts' predictions and Our League member predictions so far:

St Helens v Leigh Leopards
An enticing encounter is set to take place on Friday night, as Leigh Leopards travel to the Totally Wicked Stadium to take on St Helens. And Paul Wellens' men will be looking to further lay down their marker of intent in 2024 as they go searching for their third consecutive win of the campaign.
The Leopards will come into this game fresh and raring to go, after sitting out in Round 2 whilst opponents Wigan Warriors competed in the World Club Challenge - but Leigh will be without key men Tom Amone and Edwin Ipape this week.
St Helens have won the last 13 home meetings against Leigh - and their last away win at Saints' ground came in 1982 at Knowsley Road. Will the Leopards finally break this on Friday, or will history continue to repeat itself?
Denis Betts' prediction: St Helens
Our League member predictions: St Helens: 95%, Leopards: 4%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%
Warrington Wolves v Castleford Tigers
Warrington have home advantage again in Round 3, whereas Castleford find themselves on the road once more, following a close defeat to Salford on Sunday.
Sam Burgess' men will look to make it two from two and build momentum early on, but the Tigers are still seeking their first win of the campaign. And both sides have been hit with a huge blow for Round 3 as they will be without their star playmakers in George Williams and Danny Richardson, respectively.
Outcomes of recent meetings between the two sides have been fairly even over the past few seasons, although the Wolves did produce an 11 try spectacle against the Tigers last time out.
Denis Betts' prediction: Warrington Wolves
Our League member predictions: Wolves: 93%, Tigers: 7%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
Wigan Warriors v Huddersfield Giants
Newly-crowned World Club Champions Wigan will be ecstatic with their famous and record-equalling win over Penrith Panthers last Saturday, but their focus must now revert back to the league when they welcome Huddersfield Giants to the DW Stadium in Round 3.
The Warriors have won their last four home meetings with this West Yorkshire side, but Ian Watson's men will be determined to bounce back this week following a heavy loss to St Helens on home soil.
The Giants boast a first choice spine for Friday's fixture, whereas the Warriors are boosted by the return of powerhouse Luke Thompson. Which team will take the spoils?
Denis Betts' prediction: Wigan Warriors
Our League member predictions: Warriors: 93%, Giants: 7%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
Leeds Rhinos v Catalans Dragons
Leeds Rhinos play hosts to the Dragons on Saturday in what is set to be an entertaining encounter at AMT Headingley Stadium. The Dragons will be aiming to make it three from three, and Leeds will look to bag their second win of the season, having fallen short in Round 2.
It was one a piece last year with both sides triumphing in their respective home fixtures against each other. Will home advantage work in the Rhinos' favour once again, or will the Dragons continue their superb run?
Denis Betts' prediction: Leeds Rhinos
Our League member predictions: Dragons: 78%, Rhinos: 22%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
Salford Red Devils v Hull KR
Salford capitalised on home soil last Sunday against Castleford, and now have the chance to do the same again when they meet with an energetic and thriving Hull KR at the Salford Stadium.
The Red Devils will look to make it two from two, whilst the Robins will be aiming to register their third consecutive win of the campaign. Last season saw the Red Devils take the spoils 16-26 in Round 14, before Hull KR triumphed 12-0 in the reverse fixture. These two sides also faced each other in a Challenge Cup Quarter-Final tie last year, in which the Robins emerged victorious.
With a series of close matches in recent times, it could be hard one to call, but Our League members appear to have made up their minds...
Denis Betts' prediction: Hull KR
Our League member predictions: Red Devils: 16%, Robins: 84%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
Hull FC v London Broncos
It's only Round 3 but Sunday could see a nervy encounter unfold, as both Hull FC and London Broncos are still searching for the first wins of 2024.
The Black and Whites will welcome a travelling London to the MKM Stadium, with a much-needed two points at stake. Tony Smith's side are undefeated in their last 11 meetings with London/Harlequins and this weekend will see their first encounter since 2019. Who will claim their first win or who could remain winless heading into Round 4?
Denis Betts' prediction: Hull FC
Our League member predictions: Hull FC: 90%, Broncos: 10%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
