Ian Watson leaves Giants with immediate effect

Huddersfield Giants have announced the departure of head coach Ian Watson with immediate effect, following the club's scheduled monthly board meeting earlier today.

Luke Robinson will take charge of the team ahead of their upcoming Round 17 Betfred Super League game against Leigh Leopards at the weekend.

Neither the club nor Ian Watson have made any further comments.
