To kick off their recently announced partnership with RL Commercial, the social media platform Reddit ran its first Super League-related competition last week; giving away 100 tickets to Saturday’s Betfred Super League Grand Final.
Reddit users were asked to comment their favourite 'Grand Final Memory' to be in with a chance to win.
Since the first Grand Final in 1998, the big stage has delivered plenty of memorable moments, and here’s what some of the Reddit users ended up choosing...
Favourite Grand Final Memories on Reddit:
jimbojones666: The excitement of Castleford walking out at Old Trafford in 2017. The expectation of a win, despite missing our full-back, and then the crushing disappointment afterwards. It's the pinnacle of our sport, and despite the loss, I'd still go again to support the Tigers.
AdministrativeLaugh2: Rob Burrow’s try in 2011. You know the one.
CNG_Light: Rob Burrow, 2011. And it's not even a contest. I counted seven times Rob either changes direction or changes speed in that try. A sublime demonstration of agility from a incredible player.
mrflibbles: As a Salford fan just getting there the once was the best memory.
George_L_H: Jack Welsby’s try against Wigan in 2020! James Graham’s passion at the end just says it all.

rjohn2020: Annoyingly, as a Wire fan, I have to say Saints' 2020 winning try was an absolute cracker.
Dry-Author3253: Jason Robinson’s try at the first Grand Final.

Flimsy_Somewhere1210: Sean Long’s drop goal 2002 vs Bradford.
Analyticated: Hull FC 2006 - Not many great memories from the day, but hey, I was there, that counts for something right? Hoping that Rovers fans get a similar experience this year...;)
William_McCai: Bevan’s magic solo try against KR last year.

mynameismatt_: Henry Paul with one boot for happy memories, The Involuntary Tackle for less so...
Luke_Nukem_2D: I could name a few special Grand Final moments, but that last ever kick by Sinfield in Blue and Amber to secure the win against Wigan and capture The Treble in 2015 felt like a fairy tale ending to 'The Golden Generation', with several heroes playing their last game for Leeds, or last professional game altogether, that day.
Ruggers1000: 2018 - Wane’s final game as Wigan coach to be topped off with a win!
Lookdaddyimafarmer: Dom Manfredi scoring in the 2018 Grand Final after years of dealing with injury after injury.
