Round 4 got underway with Wakefield Trinity hosting Hull FC. It was a scrappy affair at the DIY Kitchens Stadium with the teams finding themselves level at the break.
Last year’s top try scorer Lewis Martin crossed for a first half double which was matched by tries from Will Tate and Oli Pratt.
Tate’s second then proved to be the decisive one. The Black & Whites have now lost their last three Super League matches, as Trinity go two wins from a possible four (14-10).
Catalans Dragons ensured they would be heading home with the two points against Leigh Leopards on Friday Night (16-22).
The sides scored three tries apiece, with penalty goals proving to be the difference.
The Dragons crossed through Harvey Wilson, Charlie Staines and Lewis Dodd, whilst Tesi Niu scored two tries for the Leopards, and Innes Senior also on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Warrington Wolves kept up their perfect start to the 2026 Betfred Super League season by beating York Knights on the road in a pulsating points fest (30-38).
12 tries were shared between the sides, with 40 points scored in the first half.
They took it in turns to lead throughout the game before Josh Thewlis’ last try put daylight between the two.
Table toppers Wigan Warriors remain unbeaten after their strong performance against Toulouse Olympique in the south of France (16-36).
A relentless Warriors ran in four tries in 14 minutes with Zach Eckersley and Adam Keighran completing doubles on Saturday evening.
St Helens and Bradford Bulls’ reunion did not disappoint with a fiery contest unfolding (26-22).
The Bulls pushed the Saints all the way and were even 12 points up early in the second half thanks to Connor Wynne’s brace.
But as always, St Helens are never to be written off, as Deon Cross produced the match-winning score five minutes from time.
Leeds Rhinos continued their fine form following their Vegas victory, with star winger Maika Sivo crossing for a hat-trick in Round 4.
It was also a proud moment for George Brown in Sunday's West Yorkshire Derby with Castleford Tigers, as the Rhinos’ prospering playmaker went over for his first ever Super League try at AMT Headingley Stadium, as Leeds emerged as 22-4 victors.
Finally, champions Hull KR cruised to their first victory of the season as they went to battle with Huddersfield Giants, ahead of their Fourth Round Betfred Challenge Cup meeting next Saturday.
The Robins showcased a much-improved display after their bitterly disappointing Vegas outing, with Tom Davies and Mikey Lewis scoring brilliant braces (6-32).
The Giants now sit in bottom place and are the only team left searching for their first league win…
