Hull FC release Dacia Magic Weekend kit

#MagicWeekend

Hull FC have released their official third kit for the 2019 season, which will be worn at the Dacia Magic Weekend and in the Challenge Cup!

The Airlie Birds will wear the stunning white strip featuring black chevrons for the first time next month when they face Castleford Tigers in their Challenge Cup Fifth Round fixture, with the draw taking place earlier this evening.

The jersey will then be on show again a fortnight later as Hull head for Anfield to take on Huddersfield Giants at the Dacia Magic Weekend!

The Black & Whites are currently leading the way with Magic Weekend ticket sales, having sold more than any other club.

The shirt pays homage to the club's five victories in the cup competition in 1914, 1982, 2005, and of course the back-to-back triumphs in 2016 and 2017, with five stars above the club badge!

Elements of the design also offer a subtle hint to cup shirts of yesteryear, with a white shirt with a black ‘V’ having been used as alternative shirt for cup ties in the past, as well as the more recent Wembley win in 2016.

The new shirt is modelled by two-time cup winning captain Gareth Ellis who lifted the trophy for Hull in both ’16 and ’17, before recently returning from retirement to play for the Black & Whites once again!

The new jersey is available to be purchased online now from hullfcshop.com, and will be available from all three club retail stores at the KCOM Stadium, Savile Street and St Stephens from 9am tomorrow morning.

Tickets are on sale for Super League’s festival weekend as it heads to Liverpool for a full round of Betfred Super League fixtures at the iconic Anfield Stadium on the 25th & 26th May. Purchase tickets HERE.
