Springer returns to Toulouse

Ten years after passing through the Toulouse Olympique XIII academy, French international Gadwin Springer returns to the Club for their first season in Betfred Super League.
Following his time at Toulouse, it was with the Catalan Dragons that the powerful forward broke into the top flight, making his Super League debut back in 2014.
After spending time with the Catalans reserve team, Springer swapped the South of France for West Yorkshire to join Castleford Tigers. The French forward played just under 60 games in 3 seasons with the Tigers, before joining Toronto Wolfpack, which he helped ascend to Super League at the end of the 2019 season.
After a disrupted 2020 season, he returned to the Betfred Championship with Halifax, before joining Featherstone in the summer.
On joining Toulouse, Springer explained: " I am very happy to join the TO. After talking to Sylvain (Houles), I am excited to take part in the Super League adventure with Toulouse. I'm happy to be back in this competition, I'm joining a group that has had a great season and I can't wait to start training."
Bernard Sarrazain, President of TO XIII, added: "Gadwin has all the qualities and the necessary experience to help us achieve the objectives set. I am convinced that under the leadership of Sylvain and his staff, he can go even further."
