Tuimavave wins Northern Try of the Month

May was another thrilling month of the 2023 Betfred Super League season, and we were treated to some exceptional tries across three fantastic rounds of action. 

Of all the tries scored, a shortlist of six was put to a fan vote on the Our League app and after a tight contest, Carlos Tuimavave's brilliant Hull FC try against Wakefield Trinity has been named as May's Northern Try of the Month winner.

Tuimavave finished off a brilliant move that was started by Brad Dwyer's run from dummy half. The hooker then played a quick one-two with Jake Trueman before offloading the ball to Tuimavave, who found the gap to score. 

The Northern Try of the Month is awarded each month of the Super League season running from February to September, with fans giving the chance to pick their favourite and vote via the Our League app.
