Dwyer re-signs for the Wire

Warrington Wolves have confirmed that Brad Dwyer has re-joined the club on a two-year deal.

The 30-year-old Hooker came through the club's academy ranks and made his debut back in March 2012. He went on to make 88 appearances in the primrose and blue, scoring 16 tries, and was part of the side that lifted the League Leaders' Shield back in 2016.

After departing at the end of the following season he has had spells with fellow Super League clubs Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC and brings a wealth of experience with over 250 career appearances.

Dwyer will meet up with his teammates when pre-season training starts in mid-November, working under our new Head Coach Sam Burgess.

Speaking on his return to the club, Brad Dwyer said: "I'm really excited to be re-joining the club.

"I'm happy to be moving back to the North West and being amongst family and friends. It's a place I know really well and there's a lot of familiar faces at the club.

"It's a special place for me. Warrington gave me my first crack at being a professional rugby player and I spent six good years here. To be coming back a bit older and a bit wiser, and hopefully a better player, is really exciting for me. I'm keen to show how much I've developed as a player and a person. I'm looking to impress in pre-season and put my best foot forward."

Director of Rugby Gary Chambers added: "We're delighted to welcome Brad back home.

"He's going to offer multiple different attack options to the way we play and a wealth of experience around the camp."

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Sam Burgess said: "Brad will bring depth and experience to our squad for 2024."
