Grand Final 2023 team news

The top two teams in 2023 will face off on Saturday Night in the Betfred Super League Grand Final. Can the Dragons earn their maiden Super League trophy or will the Warriors win it for the first time since 2018?

Wigan Warriors

The Warriors have made one change to their 21-man squad following last weekends Semi-Final win against Hull KR, with Ethan Havard returning from injury to take his place in the squad for the first time since July. He comes in to replace Cade Cust. 

Liam Marshall is free to play after escaping with just a fine for his Grade B trip last time out, whilst Sam Powell could make his 250th Super League appearance if he's selected for the Warriors on Saturday.

Catalans Dragons

The Dragons boast an unchanged squad after last Friday's dramatic Semi-Final win against St Helens. Sam Tomkins will make his final appearance for the club ahead of his retirement at the conclusion of the 2023 Betfred Super League season.

Siua Taukeiaho and Mike McMeeken are both available despite being charged with high tackles. Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel finalist Tom Johnstone could equal Catalans' club try scoring record in one single season if he crosses the whitewash on Saturday. He has touched down 28 times in 2023, one behind the current record holder, Morgan Escare (29).
