Leeds Rhinos are set to take on St Helens this Friday at AMT Headingley Stadium (K.O. 5:30pm) in one of the round’s standout fixtures. Coverage of this game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from 5pm and will form part of a double-header with the Men's Betfred Super League sides.
Saints have an impressive record at Headingley, having won on their last five visits - including the 2021 BWSL Grand Final.
Leeds have failed to defeat their opponents at home since a narrow 12-6 win back in September 2018. The two sides drew 20-20 in Round 1 this season, but the Red V have won the two previous matches before that - including a 22-0 victory in last year’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. It’s shaping up to be a must-watch match, as Leeds looks to bounce back in front of a home crowd.
Can St Helens remain unbeaten?
On Sunday, Barrow Raiders will welcome Warrington Wolves to the Northern Competitions Stadium (K.O. 12pm) with both teams determined to come out on top. Barrow have had the upper hand recently, winning 14-6 earlier this season in Round 3, having already secured a hefty 32-14 victory in 2024. However, Warrington did secure a narrow 10-6 win earlier last May and will be aiming to return to form after a mixed run of results.
York Valkyrie will aim to keep their unbeaten run of four matches going as they host Leigh Leopards at the LNER Community Stadium this Sunday (K.O. 12pm). York have dominated this fixture so far, winning all three previous meets without conceding a point - including a 26-0 win just last month. As the reigning champions, York will go in as the strong favourites to win, but Leigh will be hoping to show progress as they continue their first season in the top flight.
Wigan Warriors are back at Robin Park Arena (K.O. 2pm) to face off against Huddersfield Giants - a team they’ve beaten in all nine of their previous matches, with Wigan winning a staggering 58-0 in their most recent match. Huddersfield haven’t scored against the Warriors in their last three games but will be determined to put up more of a fight this time.
Wigan, meanwhile, will be aiming to keep up the pressure at the top of the table with another strong performance and keep up their unbeaten record in 2025. Will it be another knockout win for Wigan, or will the Giants pull it out of the bag? On Sunday we’ll find out.
